Latest on USF Commit Tyree Saunders and What he brings to the Table for the Bulls

Tyree Saunders is a 6’1, 175lb WR out of First Coast High in Jacksonville, Florida. Tyree is one of the most exciting players in Jacksonville and possibly even in the state. As a junior he racked up 54 catches, 937 yards, and 9 touchdowns. He is currently committed to USF but has recently started to gain the interest of power five schools such as: Iowa State, Kansas State, and Virginia Tech.

What lead you to commit to South Florida?

“Just the family environment, I felt it from the first two times I went there, I already knew the Bells from Valdosta State. I was already comfortable and could just see myself playing there.”

What roles are teams selling you on in their offense?

“USF was telling me I can play anywhere on their offense from out wide to the slot and that I can see early playing time.

Iowa State was telling me how they like my demeanor and personality. They were telling how I can play early and put up big numbers.

Tyree is a tremendous player with traits to be an elite wideout at the collegiate level. We’re looking forward to watching him play this season and watching the rest of his recruitment process. USF fans should be very excited about Tyree “Showtime” Saunders.
