Jarius Stewart is a 5’10, 180lb DB from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Stewart is very technically sound, who can play safety and he has the skill-set to become an elite nickel cornerback. His ability to mimic WRs routes is far advanced compared to some high school DBs. Stewart is a very hard worker and that is why he’s a master of his craft. Other than being a technician, another word I would describe Jarius as would be a ‘dog’. Stewart is a willing tackler and makes opposing WRs feel his presence. With him and Treyvon Hobbs I expect Raines’ secondary to be one of the top in the city.
Stewart will be attending the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp Series where he will be on display against elite talent, able to showcase his skillset for multiple college coaches and scouts. He also plays for local 7v7 team Pro Impact, who does a very good job at developing and coaching a number of talented players. Stewart will have an opportunity to impress schools and I expect he will earn his first offer very soon.
