Florida keeps the momentum rolling with another commit this month, this time it’s 4 star CB Jaydon Hill out of Madison, Alabama.
Dan Mullen and the staff have done a phenomenal job on the recruiting trail so far. After a successful FNL back in July, the Gators have added another commit from its talented visitor’s list. Cornerback Jaydon Hill committed to the Gators after a tough battle between SEC foes Tennessee and South Carolina. The Gators started off slow in Hill’s recruitment, but after a few visits during the spring and summer, the staff made him a huge priority. Give huge credit to DB coach Charlton Warren, and DC Todd Grantham for making this commitment happen.
On the field: At 6-0, 185 pounds Jaydon Hill is ranked as the 11th best corner in the nation(via 247sports.com). Hill is a physical corner that shows great footwork and athleticism. Hill has a long wingspan which gives him the ability to bat away balls when at times can be viewed as out of reach. Hill also showcases tons of speed, he can easily turn an interception into six points.
Overall fell: Hill’s commitment is big in terms of depth and playing time for our corners. With Marco Wilson and Cj Henderson possibly leaving after their junior campaign the Gators definitely need to add quality depth at the position. With Chester Kimbrough already on board, the defensive back position is shaping up very nicely. Florida looks to add one more corner to this years class, names such as 4 star DB Kaiir Elam, and 3 star DB Jarvis Brownlee (current miami commit) will be possible options. Regardless of speculation, DBU will continue to be in great shape.
